About the role

  • Define, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap
  • Build, groom, and prioritize the product backlog using Jira
  • Demonstrate strong agile maturity by managing sprint planning
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure stories are well-defined
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer, worker, and user needs
  • Gather market and user feedback through customer interactions
  • Write clear and detailed functional specifications
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or Other Related Degree
  • Four (4) or more years related work experience
  • In lieu of Bachelor’s degree(s) AND four (4) or more years related work experience, High School/GED AND eight (8) or more years related work experience
  • Mobile application product experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working as a Product Owner in a well-established agile environment
  • Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting
  • 5 or more years working in utility industry preferred
  • Agile Product Owner certification
  • 'Black Belt' Six Sigma certification preferred
