About the role
- Assist with the analysis and management of a portfolio of assigned data projects focused on residential heat pump water heaters and HVAC systems.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities that align with Duke Energy program guidelines.
- Compare opportunities with the highest efficiency HVAC and HP Water heater systems sold by manufacturers in relevant Florida markets.
- Data collection, statistical analysis, identifying opportunities, report creation, progress tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate proactively with the business/functional organization, external sources (such as vendors, consultants) and data scientists in Market Solution Analytics.
- Support essential processes, communicate, or report on weekly data analysis findings and regular project updates.
- Collaborate with various teams within the Product and Services non-dispatchable operations gaining a comprehensive view of Energy Efficiency department within the energy sector.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or other related degree.
- Must not graduate prior to August 2026
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and financial analysis expertise.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft office.
- Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Self-driven, motivated, and proactive.
