About the role
- Gain on-the-job experience and exposure to areas such as Telecom Delivery and support
- Gain exposure to cellular engineering and support
- Hands-on experience to learn more about modem communications technology and carrier service activations and deactivations
- Assist with basic support and troubleshooting
- Assist team with special projects
- Attend various site visits, information sessions and networking events with senior leadership and peers
- Learn about the Enterprise Technology and Security department and broader company business operations
- Work performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period (Hybrid)
Requirements
- Enrolled in a master’s or bachelor’s IT or Engineering related degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Software Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Must not graduate before August 2026
- Previous internship experience (Desired)
- GPA of 3.0 or higher (Desired)
- Demonstrates strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills (Desired)
- Experience with Microsoft (MS) Windows Operating Systems and MS Office (Desired)
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems, IT, cellular networks, data networks and electrical engineering concepts and practices (Desired)
- Reliable, consistent transportation is required to ensure timely arrival at the applicable facility.
