About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Use HR expertise to support employees and leaders across the department
Collaborate closely with HR leadership and Chief Administrative Officers
Manage recruitment for new and replacement positions
Evaluate compensation by generating regressions, classifying data, and processing salary adjustments
Support staff growth and development by guiding managers on training opportunities
Assist with employee relations by drafting corrective actions and maintaining personnel records
Provide departmental HR support as the first point of contact

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience supporting recruitment, compensation, or employee relations
Familiarity with HR systems such as SuccessFactors, iForms, or dFac
Knowledge of Duke HR policies and procedures
Experience coordinating onboarding or training programs
Two years of business, administrative, and/or supervisory experience with exposure to supervisory or human resource policies and practices related to employee relations.
