About the role

  • Lead the development and implementation of the talent and organizational development strategy including succession planning, key talent/high-potential development that address current and future business needs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to assess and identify learning and development needs and solutions for leadership development programs to support the organization and drive long-term sustainable growth.
  • Provide support to enterprise advisory partners to build a shared future vision for talent development, co-create programs linked to strategic objectives and enable employees to perform at the highest levels.
  • Consult with business leaders to identify and develop key organizational capabilities.
  • Design and develop strategic leadership and organizational development programs, tools, and processes to build organization and leadership capability in alignment with organizational business objectives.
  • Develop and oversee department and program budgets.
  • Support and maintain an enterprise development philosophy and strategy that executes an integrated Talent Development and Organizational Development approach.
  • Design and implement change management and organizational development solutions that contribute to business outcomes and team effectiveness.
  • Manage day-to-day talent development vendor relationships.
  • Monitor performance and identify and resolve service issues.
  • Provide guidance and development to Talent Development team members.
  • Monitor and assess the quality and effectiveness of initiatives, program delivery, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure consistent effective performance.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance engagement, culture, and performance.
  • Ensure effective utilization of resources (materials, budgets, vendors, and people).
  • Monitor progress towards the established Talent Development scorecard with key metrics and develop associated processes to capture and report progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 6 years of progressive human resources related experience
  • Health system, hospital, or Academic Medical Center experience preferred
  • Professional HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) or Assessments (e.g. Hogan) preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations in human resources
