About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Duetti's A&R team to negotiate and execute our most complex, highly customized agreements directly with our artist partners and their teams, and to develop creative solutions for challenges faced by the A&R team
Develop and cultivate relationships with artists, managers, and other industry stakeholders
Support the A&R team in achieving ambitious goals and milestones in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and integration of agreements
Use data analysis to identify opportunities to increase efficiency across the sales cycle
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in the music fintech space

Requirements

What you’ll need

More than 2 years of proven experience in private equity, investment banking, or another relevant role in finance or professional services
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate complex, unstructured data
Understanding of the music industry and the ability to interpret and navigate complex business structures
Experience assessing opportunities and risks, with the ability to make well-founded decisions during negotiations and due diligence processes
Ability to quickly interpret and synthesize legal contracts
Demonstrated attention to detail, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm to work in an early-stage startup environment that requires initiative and problem-solving
Passion for music and culture, and a desire to be at the forefront of new business models for artists
