About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive product and business impact by developing data scientists
- Mentor and set clear expectations for data science teams
- Guide multiple data science projects for timely delivery with maximum impact
- Collaborate cross-functionally using data to validate direction and strategies
- Improve data pipeline and develop strategies for actionable insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in data science or ML engineering
- 4+ years leading teams
- Proven track record of setting multi-team roadmaps
- Ability to coach experienced data scientists
- Deployment and iteration of ML and NLP solutions in production
- Advanced SQL and query optimization skills
- Familiarity with columnar databases (BigQuery, Clickhouse, Redshift, Druid)
- Strong LLM/AI experience
