About the role
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and define clear objectives for training programs.
- Design and develop innovative learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, job aids, and assessments.
- Apply instructional design principles and best practices to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
- Work closely with multimedia specialists, trainers and other team members to produce high-quality multimedia training content.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments, task analyses, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and adult learning theory to continuously enhance our training offerings.
- May act as a team lead in delivering content for Duck Creek Products.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned to you that relate to the successful creation of learning assets.
Requirements
- 2+ years of creating learning assets leveraging modern e-learning tools such as Articulate, storyline and Adobe Captivate
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (master’s degree preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in instructional design and development, preferably in a corporate or technology-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a passion for learning and professional development.
- Experience working in a technology organization to support new and existing product launches and enhancements.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects with success in delivering learning assets on time.
- Strong Presentation and communication skills.
