About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintains chemical program quality at customer sites within the program’s control limits.
- Effective chemical dosage of all program constituents.
- Accurate mechanical operation of all chemical dosing systems.
- Proper calibration and operation of all automated chemical parameter control systems.
- Proper mechanical operation of all water conditioning equipment.
- Maintain sufficient client inventory through order placement and re-order notification.
- Prompt completion of the Monthly, Quarterly, or Bi-Annual client site program audit, comprising of recording and responding to variances in water or fluid samples test results obtained via portable lab, recording inventory and initiating reorders where necessary, directly or through customers’ order process.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting resulting from non-conformances in results.
- Identify and implement solutions to help our clients’ chemical programs operate at the lowest possible life cycle cost and proactively maintain them there.
- Ability to travel to customer sites and work in industrial environments, including manufacturing facilities, mechanical rooms, and outdoor areas.
- Maintain a customer service attitude as required to maintain an exceptional level of customer satisfaction.
- Regular travel to customer manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial facilities.
- Ability to safely walk throughout large manufacturing and warehouse environments for extended periods, including navigating uneven surfaces, stairs, catwalks, and production areas.
- Must be able to enter active production environments and maintain awareness of moving equipment, forklifts, overhead hazards, and other industrial conditions.
- Must comply with all customer and company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements, including the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, hard hats, and high-visibility clothing when required.
- Must maintain the mobility and physical capability necessary to perform site inspections, customer walkthroughs, and product demonstrations in a safe manner.

Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years’ experience working in customer service and sales.
- Exposure to working in industrial environments is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal partners within the organization.
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to safely handle water treatment chemicals, testing reagents, and field service equipment in accordance with company and customer safety requirements.
- Experience with industrial water treatment programs, including boilers, cooling towers, closed loops, wastewater, or process water systems.
- Knowledge of water testing methods, field instrumentation, chemical feed systems, pumps, controllers, and related service equipment.
- Ability to interpret water sample results, identify trends or non-conformances, and recommend corrective action.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to accurately document service activity, test results, and customer communications.
