About the role
- Oversees renewable energy operations and maintenance for energy generation facilities including wind, solar, battery energy storage, and hybrid renewable energy systems
- Leads operational teams and ensures operational efficiencies are achieved
- Represents company with landowner concerns and governmental issues related to the safe and reliable operation of the renewable generating fleet
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in job related discipline and 10 years of experience with utility generation operations, inclusive of 3 years of supervisory experience; OR Associate degree in job related discipline and 12 years of experience with utility generation operations, inclusive of 3 years supervisory experience; OR High school diploma (or GED) and 14 years of experience with utility generation operations, inclusive of 3 years supervisory experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience in energy storage, including technical expertise or leadership of field operations teams for small- to large-scale battery energy storage projects
- Experience with contract development and negotiation
