About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You are responsible for designing and developing automated software tests with Cucumber and for programming extensions to the automation solutions in Java
  • You develop integration, regression and module tests using modern technologies for a system with high security requirements
  • Together with subject-matter experts you derive test cases and test data from requirements and functional specifications
  • You execute the respective tests and prepare the test documentation according to quality standards in JIRA

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of professional experience in software testing (e.g., with JUnit tests using mocking technologies such as JMockit)
  • Experience in test automation (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium)
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL, JPA)
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming with Java (version 8 or later)
  • Knowledge of JEE and implementation of graphical user interfaces (e.g., with JSF2/React)
  • Experience with cloud, container and Kubernetes environments is an advantage
  • Experience and methodological competence in agile working (Scrum)
  • Strong quality and security awareness and an independent, analytical way of working
  • Fluent German
