About the role

  • Ensure the secure and high-performance operation of our websites and online platforms for the Sparkassen Financial Group
  • Continuously maintain and expand the internal CI/CD infrastructure
  • Provision and maintain Linux servers using Terraform and Ansible
  • Further develop and adapt our Kubernetes infrastructure to changing requirements while always keeping all production services in view
  • Advise and support our agile development teams on all DevOps-related questions
  • Troubleshoot incidents and analyze issues in production operations
  • Coordinate infrastructure changes with our operations service providers

Requirements

  • Degree in IT or a comparable vocational qualification (e.g., IT specialist / Fachinformatiker)
  • Strong proponent of Infrastructure as Code and experienced with related tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Experienced with Kubernetes and related technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm 3)
  • Passionate about metrics and proficient with Prometheus and Grafana or similar solutions
  • Experienced in CI/CD (e.g., GitLab CI) and in automating build and deployment processes
  • Comfortable and proficient with the Linux shell
  • Resourceful, enjoy knowledge sharing and discussions with colleagues, and eager to learn new technologies
  • Analytical, responsible, and a true team player
