About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design process from concept to execution.
- Create user personas, customer journey maps, user flows, wireframes, site maps and other UX documentation to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Interpret and translate wireframes into tangible and compelling experiences.
- Expertise in creating comprehensive design systems, including reusable component libraries, to streamline design processes and implement nested component architectures for modular design and customization.
- Ability to take design decisions based on a strategic design roadmap or personal design expertise and reasoning.
- Create documentation and guidelines for effective usage of design system components.
- Manage the entire design workflow, from initial wireframes and prototypes to final delivery to developers.
- Collaborate closely with development teams for seamless integration of design components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and usability.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product managers and Engineers.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in user experience, design or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a professional digital design role.
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Data oriented and able to extract insights from product dashboards
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work experience and design projects.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript is a plus.
