About the role

  • **Key Duties & Responsibilities:**
  • - Plan, prioritize and manage software projects from initiation to delivery.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • - Set project milestones and create detailed project plans to track progress.
  • - Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project timelines and budget are met.
  • - Communicate project updates and status reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • - Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that arise.
  • - Ensure quality control of project deliverables by conducting thorough testing and reviews.
  • - Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices.

Requirements

  • **Required Skills & Abilities:**
  • - Proven experience as a Software Project Manager, preferably in the software development industry.
  • - Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • - Experience in Agile project management is a plus.
  • - Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make critical decisions and prioritize tasks.
  • - Leadership qualities to motivate and guide project team members.
  • **Education & Experience:**
  • - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • - Project management certification (PMP) is preferred.
  • - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software project management.
