Account Manager, Iberia

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advising and supporting customers using our diagnostic solutions (food, animal feed companies, laboratories, distributors)
- Promoting Romer Labs products for the analysis of food allergens, mycotoxins and pathogens
- Actively representing Romer Labs in conferences and seminars
- Acquiring new customers
- Utilizing marketing and technical resources to increase market share
- Cooperating with the logistic team to maximize service level
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of B2B sales experience (ideally in diagnostic segment)
- Life science education background e.g. chemistry, food engineering, biotechnology, biology, agriculture
- Able to travel in the region (~50%)
- Category B driving license
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese – verbal and written
- Team player, strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work across cultures and communicate effectively in both remote and face to face situations
- Solution orientated attitude, analytical mindset, innovative thinking and creativity, target oriented, strong customer focus
- Experienced in IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, SalesForce)
