About the role
- Part of a multidisciplinary team dealing with plant operations and coordinating regional projects
- Manage, control and align plant operation (Planning, Manufacturing, QA/QC, internal logistics & shipping, maintenance, sampling) to achieve short and medium term financial and operating objectives
- Ensure successful execution of key Operations projects agreed with the business
- Support full compliance to rules & regulations established by local or regional authorities
- Identify and drive fundamental changes to orient plant team behaviour towards customer needs and ensure sustainable performance
- Build, motivate and lead the plant community in line with Firmenich core values
- Ensure leadership in HS&E and QA
- Lead implementation of OPEX organisation and Continuous Improvement/Lean principles through the value chain
- Align daily operations with site mission & objectives and identify key site projects for the project team
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, manufacturing or equivalent
- Master's Degree preferred
- 15 years' experience running a plant
- Food Manufacturing experience
