About the role
- Discuss and determine the purchasing needs (quality and quantity) with key global D&T stakeholders to understand purchasing and financial needs, to align business plans and to clarify outline for ANHnewco indirect D&T services procurement strategy and plan
- Accountable for the development and the implementation strategic procurement D&T category strategies that align with ANHnewco goals and objectives
- Identify and mitigate business risks caused by single source positions and changes in market dynamics, next to create maximal possibilities in implementing the ANHnewco D&T strategy
- Work together with key global D&T stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with the overall business road map and agenda, ensure business needs are well captured
- Operate within the Cost Governance model as relevant procurement D&T subcategory owner
- Work with relevant D&T category managers/buyers, finance and business to define, animate and monitor initiative pipelines to drive overall value for the business as cost savings, growth opportunity and cash.
- Responsible to drive supplier partnership excellence, ensure compliance with internal and external policies/regulations and secure risk management through supply continuity and preserving company reputation
- Infuse Corporate Social Responsibility standards and considerations into sourcing decisions, promoting ethical and sustainable practices in supplier relationships
- Provide job coaching to category managers and buyers from D&T subcategories’ functional perspectives
- Internal (Stakeholder and Procurement) communication, cooperation and change management in situations of aligned and conflicting interests
- External communication towards suppliers, peers and industry bodies representing ANHnewco for the category.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in procurement business administration, commerce, or other relevant discipline preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in Indirect sourcing services and leadership roles regionally and globally
- Category management, strategic thinking & creativity, collaboration excellence, change management capabilities
- Experience engaging with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams by leveraging strong communication skills and utilizing appropriate channels and methods.
