💰 $66,000 - $121,700 per year

About the role

  • Overseeing value add site projects from conception through implementation
  • Interface with Operations, Technology, other Engineers and Business Partners to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Drive optimization and improvement of the site by providing project expertise
  • Ensure all required validation protocols are written, approved, and implemented
  • Obtain and install into inventory all spare parts judged essential in the criticality review
  • Formulate initial PM programs in the project
  • Ensure process lines are grounded during transfer of materials
  • Safety, Health, & Environment (SHE) oversight and monitoring of all contractors
  • Report all risks to project budget and monitor SHE compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 5 years on the job experience
  • In depth knowledge and hands on experience on relevant dsm-firmenich SHE requirements
  • Knowledge of applicable site-specific safety aspects (e.g. dust explosions, PSM area)
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations
  • Knowledge of ISO Systems, ICH Q7A and cGMPs
  • Knowledge of Vitamin Forms & DSP processes, six sigma methodologies are desirable
  • Knowledge in SAP and SRM to control project cost and track spending
  • Familiar with contractor contracts and development of milestone payments
