About the role
- Overseeing value add site projects from conception through implementation
- Interface with Operations, Technology, other Engineers and Business Partners to complete projects on time and within budget
- Drive optimization and improvement of the site by providing project expertise
- Ensure all required validation protocols are written, approved, and implemented
- Obtain and install into inventory all spare parts judged essential in the criticality review
- Formulate initial PM programs in the project
- Ensure process lines are grounded during transfer of materials
- Safety, Health, & Environment (SHE) oversight and monitoring of all contractors
- Report all risks to project budget and monitor SHE compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5 years on the job experience
- In depth knowledge and hands on experience on relevant dsm-firmenich SHE requirements
- Knowledge of applicable site-specific safety aspects (e.g. dust explosions, PSM area)
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Knowledge of ISO Systems, ICH Q7A and cGMPs
- Knowledge of Vitamin Forms & DSP processes, six sigma methodologies are desirable
- Knowledge in SAP and SRM to control project cost and track spending
- Familiar with contractor contracts and development of milestone payments
