About the role
- Expect 50% of time engaging with staff members on the shop floor gathering information (process steps, relevant photos, safety requirements and other parameters) to develop new and modify existing procedures.
- Expect 50% of time spent at a PC constructing procedures using Microsoft applications.
- Any downtime from procedure development could be spent assisting with process or project engineering tasks.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Must be available to work full-time on-site beginning on June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026.
- Second year engineering student or higher is preferred.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from multi-functional teams.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and be willing to wear personal protective equipment based on process and food safety requirements.
