About the role
- Provide oversight and accountability for SHE programs
- Support process maintenance and continuous improvement for safety programs
- Ensure compliance with management systems including ISO standards
- Lead audits and environmental programs for compliance and improvement
- Interface with regulatory agencies and authorities
- Record and track safety data for performance metrics analysis
Requirements
- BS/BA/MS in Scientific or Engineering discipline; degree in Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline preferred
- 5+ years of SHE experiences
- Demonstrated knowledge of California and federal EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations
- Practical experience in health, safety and environmental areas including lockout-tagout-tryout, work at heights, inspections and audits of safety programs
- Proven ability to influence personnel at all levels
- Ability to effectively communicate safety, health, and environmental processes and requirements
