About the role

  • Co-ordinate the dsm-firmenich Manufacturing Function through our complex S/4HANA transformation, supporting the SVP Manufacturing Excellence (ME) as process owner and leading the activities from within the business CoE.
  • Use your deep functional expertise in PP, PP-PI, WM, EWM, PM and QM, to assess as-is site-specific shop floor processes to identify opportunities for transformation, enabled by the new S/4 capabilities.
  • Support the cross-BU process discovery and harmonization workshops, documenting Level 3/4 process variants, conducting fit-gap assessments against the target S/4 model and orchestrating workshops to find common solutions where there are deviations.
  • Optimize and accelerate the implementation by coordinating the creation of a business process structure that is executable in our target S/4HANA model, linking manufacturing, internal logistics, quality and maintenance into a series of integrated flows.
  • Ensure that S/4 design and process decisions remain coherent with the existing and evolving wider manufacturing solutions landscape including site level L2 & 3 systems and corporate non-SAP systems.
  • Support the pilot implementations to exit hyper care with minimal business impact and agreed success metrics achieved.

Requirements

  • Extensive expertise in manufacturing business processes, including process gathering, analysis, mapping, recommendation, negotiation, and implementation.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic manufacturing environments, driving process improvements from shopfloor operations to enterprise-level solutions.
  • Broad cross-industry experience across food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors, enabling versatile and scalable process design.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, ensuring seamless digital transformation and operational alignment.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a history of successfully leading complex initiatives and aligning digital solutions with business strategy.
