About the role
- Lead operational improvements at Rincon facility
- Oversee daily production activities
- Manufacture budgeted volume and mix of finished products
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams
- Resolve production issues with engineering, maintenance, SH&E, and Quality Control
- Maintain reporting mechanism for production rates, yields, and quality
- Ensure inventory accuracy and collaborate with logistics department
- Collaborate on environmental & safety aspects of operations
- Identify areas for process and equipment improvement
- Provide troubleshooting assistance and support training for new products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering preferred
- Minimum 8 years chemical operations experience
- Minimum 3 years chemical management experience
- Experience with batch distillation, continuous distillation, batch reaction, continuous reaction, and material handling
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate computer controlled process equipment
- Excellent understanding of production documentation system and production control
- Proficiency in SAP software
- Knowledge of emergency response, safety procedures, practices, and environmental regulations
- Understanding of wastewater treatment in operating areas
- Hands-on, results-oriented, ability to work effectively in a team environment
