About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards, focusing on dataset design, data modelling, and report performance
- Write and optimise SQL queries and DAX expressions for reporting and analytics
- Support PowerBI workspace management, including access controls, lineage, and release processes
- Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data
- Support analytics solution integration in the AWS cloud data platform, including testing, validation, and documentation
- Maintain data quality, troubleshoot pipeline failures, monitor uptime, and escalate issues
- Coordinate data engineers, act as first point of escalation, and enforce development standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data needs into technical deliverables
- Communicate findings and solutions to non-technical audiences
- Participate in sprint planning with business stakeholders
- Contribute to documentation covering data lineage, ETL processes, and the data catalogue
- Support data governance and data quality activities
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a technology, analytical, or business-related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, BI developer, or data engineer role
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and querying
- Exposure to data pipeline tools and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in English
- Interest in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial data is advantageous
- Exposure to agile delivery methods is beneficial
- Additional languages such as Spanish, French, or German are an asset
