Regional Sourcing Lead

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work remotely with travel to existing suppliers
- Responsible for multimillion level spend across all packaging categories
- Lead a team of 2 direct reports
- Define & deploy the regional sourcing strategy through team
- Utilize strategic sourcing methodologies and supplier stakeholder management principles
- Collaborate with the Global Procurement team on compliance and strategies
- Communicate with stakeholders to gain commitment to the category plan
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Run significant value delivery projects and competitive sourcing processes
- Support client facing teams to maximize gross profit margins
- Ensure contractual compliance with suppliers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience of direct management and leadership of a team
- Experience leading a team through transformation to success
- Comfortable managing a multimillion, multi country spend portfolio
- Experience of either direct or in-direct sourcing and procurement operations
- Great understanding of the supplier landscape for the European region
- Recent achievements of TCO/total cost ownership initiatives
