About the role
- Lead the design and development of core platform capabilities enabling AI investigations
- Architect and implement integrations with security tools and data sources
- Evolve investigation logic for handling new security alerts
- Review AI investigations to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement
- Define technical direction with security, GTM, and customer success teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers
- Contribute directly to the Python codebase
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years in a senior-level role leading projects or influencing technical direction
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining security-focused software products or large-scale security tooling
- Strong backend development skills in Python
- Expertise integrating with and building on top of security platforms (e.g., SIEMs, SOAR, EDR)
- Solid understanding of modern security operations practices, detection engineering, and common attack techniques and vulnerabilities
- Comfort in leading end-to-end feature development
- Early-stage startup mindset
