About the role
- Develop and execute the North America field marketing strategy, aligning event programs with business goals and revenue targets.
- Own the end-to-end planning, budgeting, and delivery of flagship events and North America trade shows, including the Horizons customer conference, executive roundtables, VIP experiences, and our broader external events portfolio.
- Partner closely with sales, product marketing, and executive leadership to ensure field marketing activities directly support pipeline creation, acceleration, and retention.
- Recruit, manage, and develop a team of direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze event performance and pipeline impact, using data to optimize future programs and maximize ROI.
- Experiment with new event formats, channels, and technologies (including AI-driven efficiencies) to enhance attendee engagement and operational effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the face of field marketing for the region.
- Establish repeatable processes, templates, and best practices to scale the field marketing function as the team grows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a proven track record in field marketing, event strategy, and pipeline generation for technology or SaaS companies.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale customer conferences, executive activations, trade shows, and field events that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Experience managing a team of direct reports, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using data to inform strategy and optimize performance.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach to partnering across sales, marketing, and executive teams.
- Creative problem-solver who embraces new technologies and is open to leveraging AI for process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Available to travel up to 40% for events and key meetings.
