About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install windshields and auto glass in the shop or from a mobile operation unit
Calibrate vehicle electronics, including ADAS systems, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Alert
Repair chips and other glass damage
Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction
Process payments from mobile customers
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
Provide World Class customer service to customers and vendors
Perform driving duties monitored and recorded by a telematics device for safety and compliance
Lift, maneuver around vehicles, and perform installations in varying weather conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of automotive glass installation experience
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check
Proficiency managing and working with several types of automotive glass
Strong knowledge of auto mechanic tools, equipment, and techniques used in glass repair and replacement
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
Strong customer experience skills
Excellent critical thinking skills and diligence
Must be over 18 years of age
Ability to perform the physical demands of the job
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to maneuver around vehicles safely during installations
Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, hold, grasp, pull, and turn for extended periods
Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
Driving duties monitored and recorded by a telematics device
