About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install windshields and auto glass in a shop or from a mobile operation unit
- Calibrate vehicle electronics, including ADAS systems, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Alert
- Repair chips and other glass damage
- Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments from mobile customers
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Provide world-class customer service to customers and vendors
- Perform driving duties monitored and recorded by a telematics device for safety and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of automotive glass installation experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass an MVR check
- Proficiency managing and working with several types of automotive glass
- Strong knowledge of auto mechanic tools, equipment, and techniques used in glass repair and replacement
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
- Strong customer experience skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills and diligence
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver around vehicles safely during installations
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, hold, grasp, pull, and turn for extended periods
- Willingness to work in hot or cold weather conditions
