working closely with stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for performance
creating and maintaining logical, physical, and conceptual data models in Google Big Query using Dataform
collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver data products in support of those needs
developing and managing data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage
refining and updating models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiencies
ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, BigQuery)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) and data services (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Dataform)
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders
Experience within the Google Big Query environment
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
