About the role

  • Oversee and manage franchisee construction of Take 5 retail stores
  • Assist franchisees with construction-related activities to ensure timely completion per brand prototype
  • Work with architects, engineers, contractors, internal real estate, operations, and marketing teams
  • Manage development and construction of new stores and remodel/conversions
  • Provide franchisees support with Due Diligence, Design, Permitting, and Construction
  • Ensure stores are designed and constructed in line with prototype and brand standards
  • Develop and manage project schedules and timelines and provide regular status updates
  • Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and external partners and resolve construction issues
  • Manage and update department store opening tracker (design, permitting, construction timelines)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, project management, or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in retail construction management
  • Knowledge and experience in retail development and construction
  • Ability to read construction documents (architectural and civil plans), Due Diligence including Phase 1’s, Geotechnical reports, Surveys
  • Strong understanding of construction industry standards and best practices
  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
