About the role
- Oversee and manage franchisee construction of Take 5 retail stores
- Assist franchisees with construction-related activities to ensure timely completion per brand prototype
- Work with architects, engineers, contractors, internal real estate, operations, and marketing teams
- Manage development and construction of new stores and remodel/conversions
- Provide franchisees support with Due Diligence, Design, Permitting, and Construction
- Ensure stores are designed and constructed in line with prototype and brand standards
- Develop and manage project schedules and timelines and provide regular status updates
- Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and external partners and resolve construction issues
- Manage and update department store opening tracker (design, permitting, construction timelines)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, project management, or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in retail construction management
- Knowledge and experience in retail development and construction
- Ability to read construction documents (architectural and civil plans), Due Diligence including Phase 1’s, Geotechnical reports, Surveys
- Strong understanding of construction industry standards and best practices
- Excellent project management skills, including ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Effective communication and people skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
