About the role
- Overseeing the preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll timecards for both the US and Canada
- Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy and completeness within Workday
- Ensure timely submission and approval of timecards for payroll processing
- Resolve discrepancies in timecards by collaborating with employees and managers to correct issues
- Assist managers with onboarding processes to ensure new hires can properly clock in and out or make necessary adjustments
- Analyze data related to unsubmitted or unapproved time and manually enter punches
Requirements
- Proven experience as a payroll coordinator, analyst, or in a similar role
- Strong familiarity with payroll processes and systems (experience with Workday required)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Fair Labor Standards Act
- Proficiency in Excel (functions, data management, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of math
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
