Collections Representative for Drive Medical responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts. Ensuring accounts are current and providing excellent customer service in the collections process.

About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review open accounts and follow up if they are past due.
Work with the deductions department to reconcile any deductions/short-pays that may arise.
Resolve any unapplied cash on an account.
Run aging reports in Microsoft Excel to identify accounts to be targeted for collection calls.
Maintain strong level of professionalism and customer service with clients via excellent communication.
Process Bank Wire, ACH & Credit Card transactions.
Reach out to customers on pending orders.
Work closely with the Credit department to communicate any customers that need to be blocked or sent to outside collections/Euler credit insurance.
Work closely with the Sales Team as it relates to customers that are not within payment terms.

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 year of Business Collections experience (B2B)
High School diploma, but BS/BA Degree preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
Experience with SAP preferred
