About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the planning and end-to-end execution of software development programs and projects.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to define priorities, scope, and work plans.
- Manage schedules, cross-team dependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Facilitate communication among the various areas involved and ensure timely follow-up on projects.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications that enable correct implementation of solutions.
- Participate in defining technical architectures and support integration and implementation efforts.
- Monitor operational metrics and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document work plans, best practices, and project management standards.
- Communicate progress, risks, outcomes, and retrospectives clearly and promptly to stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience managing technical projects working directly with software development teams.
- 5+ years of experience in technology companies, preferably in a SaaS model.
- 3+ years leading software development projects with defined schedules and delivery dates.
- Proven experience with agile methodologies and iterative processes.
- Experience managing complex initiatives and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Roadmunk.
- Preferred: PMP, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile certifications.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Operations, and Support teams.
- Ability to influence and lead teams without direct authority.
- Experience in large-scale software development organizations.
- Ability to operate in changing environments and manage multiple priorities.
