About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve on a small advisory council supporting development of short-form virtual reality immersive learning experiences
- Provide expertise on creating engaging, standards-aligned project-based learning experiences
- Advise on how immersive technology can support classroom instruction across disciplines
- Provide thoughtful feedback on interdisciplinary learning opportunities and authentic classroom implementation
- Review learning experiences, product concepts, and curricular materials asynchronously between meetings
- Participate in 3–4 virtual advisory meetings per semester
- Collaborate with curriculum developers and creative teams to shape educational products
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience teaching at the high school level
- Understanding of project-based learning, inquiry-based instruction, and other student-centered pedagogies
- Deep familiarity with national academic standards
- Creative thinking about integrating immersive experiences into classroom instruction
- Ability to provide thoughtful feedback on interdisciplinary learning opportunities and authentic classroom implementation
- Enjoyment of collaboration with curriculum developers and creative teams
- Commitment of approximately 10 hours per semester
- Commitment to 3–4 virtual advisory meetings per semester
- Ability to complete asynchronous reviews between meetings
