Talent Manager – from 30 hrs/week

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- In this role you will actively help build our hiring and core people processes.
- Your focus is on finding the right people for Dreamlight, guiding them through the application process, and ensuring new team members and freelancers have a smooth start.
- Coordinate recruiting: You manage open roles, keep hiring pipelines up to date, and make sure applications don’t fall through the cracks.
- Create and optimize job postings: You write job descriptions for JOIN and other channels and continuously improve them based on feedback and candidate quality.
- Handle applicant management: You screen applications, coordinate next steps, and communicate professionally with candidates.
- Organize interviews: You schedule meetings with founders and team leads, prepare interviews, and document feedback and decisions.
- Build active sourcing: You proactively search for suitable talent and test new ways to attract great people to Dreamlight.
- Build a talent and freelancer pool: You maintain relationships with promising candidates, freelancers, and potential future team members.
- Structure onboarding: You ensure new employees and freelancers clearly understand what they need, who to contact, and how to get started effectively.
- Coordinate employment contract processes: You collect all relevant information, prepare contracts based on existing templates, and align final versions with management and, if needed, external advisors.
- Improve internal documentation: You organize our wiki, document recurring processes, and make knowledge more accessible.
- Organize people routines: You help structure performance conversations, feedback processes, and team-related topics.
- Relieve founders and team leads: You consolidate personnel, hiring, and onboarding matters so decisions can be made faster and more clearly.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, people operations, or a similar role—ideally in a growing company, startup, or dynamic environment
- Strong people sense: You can quickly assess whether candidates are a professional and cultural fit for Dreamlight.
- Structure and reliability: You reliably manage applications, follow-ups, interview schedules, and open decisions.
- Strong communication skills: You write clearly, politely, and professionally with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Independent work style: You don’t just wait for tasks—you proactively identify where processes are missing or can be improved.
- Organizational talent: You can manage multiple open roles, candidates, and processes at once without things being neglected.
- Interest in process-building: You’re eager to not only manage recruiting, onboarding, wiki, and people processes but to actively build them.
- Confident use of tools: Ideally you’re familiar with tools like JOIN, LinkedIn, ClickUp, Google Workspace, Personio, or similar systems.
- Confidential handling of sensitive information: You treat applicant data, contracts, and employee conversations professionally and discreetly.
- More important than a perfect CV is that you genuinely understand hiring as a growth lever and are excited to turn many individual HR topics into a working system.
