About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responds promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, working to resolve issues efficiently while supporting broader customer service goals
  • Collaborates with team members on a variety of projects and assignments, contributing ideas, sharing workload, and supporting team-based problem solving.
  • Upholds organizational policies and regulatory requirements, consistently demonstrating ethical conduct and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Accurately manages patient records by entering new admissions, updating demographic or status changes, processing refills, transferring patients, and completing required documentation.
  • Produces high quality work by maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness across all assigned tasks.
  • Delivers exceptional service to hospice partners, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
  • Completes all required Skill-Based Learnings to stay current on processes, systems, and professional development expectations.
  • Manages a high volume of inbound calls efficiently, providing timely assistance and maintaining a calm, customer focused approach.
  • Assists callers with service-related concerns such as package tracking and service failure reporting, including completion of CS report forms.
  • Supports local pharmacies by assisting with claims adjudication and contributing to fulfillment operations at designated sites when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • May assist with projects related to pharmacy and clinical practice & professional development.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be enrolled in a school of pharmacy
  • Must be registered per the board of pharmacy for state residing in.
  • Pharmacy experience required
  • Demonstrated passion for improving patient experiences and healthcare outcomes
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and maintains a high level of accuracy across all tasks
  • Consistently adheres to all applicable privacy, security, and safety policies, ensuring compliance in daily workflow
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and communicates effectively in verbal and written formats.
  • Shows drive, dedication, and a proactive approach to completing responsibilities.
  • Works collaboratively as a contributing and supportive team member.
  • Demonstrates self‑motivation.
  • Maintains strong organizational skills and effectively manages multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Applies strong problem‑solving abilities and reliably follows through on assigned tasks until completion.
  • Upholds exceptional personal and professional ethics aligned with company standards.
  • Learns new systems quickly and adapts well to ongoing changes in the practice environment
  • Possesses solid Windows-based computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
