About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage defined project plans and schedules and monitor progress
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Foster partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors
- Align project objectives with company goals and clarify objectives for project teams
- Lead issue identification and resolution
- Manage project scope, risk tracking, and project documentation
- Manage budgets and allocate project resources
- Facilitate and troubleshoot complex systems, coordination, development, and design projects
- Deliver and install technology solutions based on project deliverables when needed
- Protect company intellectual property and customer data privacy
- Lead, counsel, and mentor others
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent preferred
- 1–2 years’ experience as a project lead
- Operational experience in a hospice environment strongly preferred
- Experience in hospice, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, managed care, or other pertinent health care services industry strongly preferred
- Knowledge of project management applications and principles
- Knowledge of resource allocation, budgeting, and coordination of people and resources
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of the company’s products, technologies, selling strategies, and internal business functions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Occasional travel may be required
- Ability to perform computer-based work for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 10 pounds
