About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Accurately performs prescription data entry in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Build and maintain accurate medication profiles and MARs (Medication Administration Records) for IPU patients.
Understand and apply IPU model variations and profiling requirements for different hospice partners.
Review and process faxed medication orders independently, ensuring timely follow-up where needed.
Contact hospices to obtain or clarify prescription information and document interactions thoroughly

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of one (1) year pharmacy technician data entry experience (2+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of brand and generic drug names
Familiarity with formulary systems and medication safety protocols
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and professional integrity
Ability to work independently and collaborate virtually with a dispersed team
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including rotating weekends and holidays
Proficiency with Windows-based applications and Microsoft Office Suite
Accurate and efficient typing/data entry skills
Experience using pharmacy systems such as DocuWare and Infinity
Comfort with troubleshooting remote systems and navigating multiple platforms simultaneously
