About the role
- Lead a team of 4-6 engineers to deliver business-critical platform capabilities
- Own the technical direction of core shared libraries and internal frameworks
- Drive the evolution of service creation tooling
- Partner with compliance and legal stakeholders to ensure systems meet regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to influence the platform roadmap
- Shield the team from distractions and remove blockers
- Champion AI-assisted development practices
- Mentor team members for career growth
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience leading a software engineering team of 4 or more engineers
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent
- Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries or SDKs
- Professional experience building backend systems within the .NET ecosystem or similar technology stacks
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
- Comfort integrating AI tools into engineering workflows.
- Experience working in gaming, sports betting, fintech, or other highly regulated industries
