About the role

  • Lead a team of 4-6 engineers to deliver business-critical platform capabilities
  • Own the technical direction of core shared libraries and internal frameworks
  • Drive the evolution of service creation tooling
  • Partner with compliance and legal stakeholders to ensure systems meet regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to influence the platform roadmap
  • Shield the team from distractions and remove blockers
  • Champion AI-assisted development practices

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience leading a software engineering team of 4 or more engineers
  • Proven ability to identify, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent
  • Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries or SDKs
  • Professional experience building backend systems within the .NET ecosystem or similar technology stacks
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
  • Comfort integrating AI tools into engineering workflows.
  • Experience working in gaming, sports betting, fintech, or other highly regulated industries
