About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day 3PL operations, including inbounding, pick/pack/ship, inventory, and returns
- Publish daily UnPGI orders and prior-day sales-invoiced reports
- Conduct weekly claims reviews and drive corrective actions
- Own customer-critical shipments and resolve service deviations
- Track and enforce 3PL KPIs
- Trigger and manage quarterly performance improvement plans when required
- Review warehouse and transportation invoices and validate labor charges
- Track expedited shipments and assist with budget performance
- Lead bi-weekly internal launch timeline reviews and trackers
- Ensure MDM, SDS, and setup elements are completed with internal teams and the 3PL
- Manage new product launch orders and transportation through delivery
- Ensure SOP adherence and audit readiness; maintain licensing records
- Collaborate with QA on SOP development and audits
- Establish system connectivity and implement DSCSA requirements for end-to-end traceability
- Assess 3PL capabilities and lead non-standard requests such as inspections, rework, and repack
- Communicate capacity limits and execution plans to cross-functional teams
- Provide volume forecasts and ensure labor plans meet demand
- Monitor and approve overtime and ad-hoc labor
- Facilitate weekly management reviews and quarterly business reviews
- Liaise across Customer Care, Commercial, Finance, and Operations
- Support root-cause actions and change initiatives to improve service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
- Experience with inbound/outbound logistics
- Experience with warehousing operations
- Experience with controlled substances
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations
- Understanding of customs and FDA clearance
- Knowledge of GMP/GDP/GWP/cGMP/FDA/USCBP compliance requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future
