About the role
- Plan, organize, carry out and document tests on medical devices and assemblies to demonstrate product safety as part of an IEC 60601-1 review
- Prepare quality-relevant test reports, including approvals/releases, in accordance with the requirements of the standard and the applicable scheme (e.g., CB or NRTL)
- Define and coordinate test scope/test plans with the relevant development project regarding the regulatory-required extent
- Perform/organize fault-finding in case of failures
- Collaborate with external certification bodies such as CSA or TÜV on product safety certifications for our medical devices
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training with several years of professional experience in electronics/electrical engineering
- Relevant experience in testing or fault analysis/troubleshooting
- Good command of English
