About the role
- Plan, organize, perform and document tests on medical devices and assemblies to demonstrate product safety as part of an IEC 60601-1 review.
- Prepare quality-relevant test reports including approvals in accordance with the requirements of the standard and the applicable procedure (e.g., CB or NRTL).
- Define and coordinate the scope of testing/test plans with the relevant development project regarding the regulatory required scope.
- Carry out and organize troubleshooting in case of failures.
- Cooperate with external certification bodies such as CSA or TÜV for product safety certifications of our medical devices.
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training with many years of professional experience in electronics / electrical engineering.
- Relevant experience in testing or troubleshooting.
- Good command of English.
