About the role
- With solid UX research, you will actively shape the development of medical consumables and accessory products
- Conduct user research to capture the needs and workflows of users handling medical consumables and accessories
- Plan and conduct formative and summative usability tests with a focus on the safe use of consumables and accessories
- Document according to regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 62366-1, FDA guidance)
- Work closely with interdisciplinary development teams to create user-centered, practice-oriented solutions for clinical use
- Actively contribute to the further development of methods, processes and our UX strategy—particularly with regard to the special diversity and complexity of consumables and their application contexts
Requirements
- Completed degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Medical Engineering or a comparable discipline
- Experience in user research and usability testing, ideally in a medical environment, and confident handling of regulatory requirements and related documentation
- Knowledge of relevant usability standards in the medical technology field and, ideally, familiarity with clinical workflows and user groups in healthcare
- Analytical thinking, structured and quality-conscious working style, strong communication skills, team spirit, and very good German and English language skills.
