About the role

  • You conduct user research to identify user needs and derive requirements for new products and features.
  • You conduct formative and summative usability tests and document them in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 62366-1, FDA).
  • You work closely with UX design, industrial design, and development to enable user-centered solutions.
  • You actively contribute to the further development of methods, processes, and the UX strategy.

Requirements

  • A completed degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Human–Computer Interaction, Sociology, or a related field
  • Solid experience in planning and conducting UX research and usability testing
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and usability standards in the medical device environment
  • Ideally, knowledge of clinical workflows and user groups in healthcare
  • Analytical thinking, a structured working style, and a strong quality awareness
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
