About the role
- You conduct user research to identify user needs and derive requirements for new products and features.
- You conduct formative and summative usability tests and document them in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 62366-1, FDA).
- You work closely with UX design, industrial design, and development to enable user-centered solutions.
- You actively contribute to the further development of methods, processes, and the UX strategy.
Requirements
- A completed degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Human–Computer Interaction, Sociology, or a related field
- Solid experience in planning and conducting UX research and usability testing
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and usability standards in the medical device environment
- Ideally, knowledge of clinical workflows and user groups in healthcare
- Analytical thinking, a structured working style, and a strong quality awareness
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
