About the role
- Plan, organize, perform and document tests on medical devices and assemblies to demonstrate product safety as part of an IEC 60601-1 review
- Produce quality-relevant test reports including approvals in accordance with the requirements of the standard and the respective procedure (e.g., CB or NRTL)
- Define and coordinate the test scope/test plan with the relevant development project regarding the regulatory required scope
- Perform/organize fault-finding in case of failures
- Collaborate with external certifiers such as CSA or TÜV on product safety certifications for our medical devices
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training with several years of professional experience in electronics/electrical engineering
- Experience in testing or fault-finding relevant to the role
- Good English skills
