About the role

  • You will use solid UX research to actively shape the development of medical consumables and accessory products
  • Conduct user research to capture users' needs and workflows
  • Derive clear requirements for new products and product optimizations
  • Plan and conduct usability tests with a focus on the safe use of consumables
  • Document in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 62366-1, FDA guidance)
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary development teams
  • Actively contribute to the further development of methods, processes, and our UX strategy

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Biomedical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Experience in user research and usability testing, ideally in a medical or healthcare environment
  • Confident handling of regulatory requirements and associated documentation
  • Knowledge of relevant usability standards in the medical device sector
  • Ideally, knowledge of clinical workflows and user groups in healthcare
  • Analytical thinking, structured and quality-conscious working style, strong communication skills, team spirit, and very good German and English language skills
