About the role
- Plan, organize, perform and document tests on medical devices and assemblies to demonstrate product safety within the scope of an IEC 60601-1 review.
- Prepare quality-related test reports, including approvals/releases, in accordance with the requirements of the standard and the applicable procedure (e.g., CB or NRTL).
- Define and coordinate the test scope/test plan with the relevant development project regarding the regulatory required scope.
- Carry out and organize fault-finding and troubleshooting in case of failures.
- Collaborate with external certification bodies such as CSA or TÜV on product safety certifications for our medical devices.
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training with several years of professional experience in electronics/electrical engineering.
- Role-related experience in testing or troubleshooting.
- Good command of English.
