About the role

  • Create test data for QA and development systems for Drägerware.ZMS, specifically: generate anonymized or pseudonymized test data from production data, or create data “from scratch” using a DSL to be developed
  • Introduce API integration tests for the new REST API
  • Evaluate and implement a prototype BI tool for analyzing the available raw data
  • Evaluate and create a prototype Excel report based on raw data
  • Work partially remotely, depending on the needs of the department and the internship tasks

Requirements

  • Enrolled in computer science, software development (at least 4th semester) or a comparable degree program
  • Ideally, initial experience in object-oriented programming with Java or Python
  • Ideally, initial experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Ideally, basic knowledge of REST APIs (REST, HTTP protocol, etc.)
  • Ideally, initial experience or interest in becoming a Data Scientist
  • Ideally, initial experience with Excel (preparing raw data for Excel via e.g. C# or similar)
  • Good English skills are desirable
  • Independent, solution-oriented work style and commitment to implementing your own ideas
