About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across building systems and manufacturing equipment
- Apply working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to reduce unplanned downtime
- Communicate equipment conditions and scheduled work to production and maintenance leadership/teams
- Remove and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, lifts, or material-handling equipment
- Support troubleshooting and escalate complex or non-routine problems
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
- Inspect tools, equipment, and work areas for safety and housekeeping compliance
- Monitor maintenance supplies, parts, and tools and report replenishment needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required
- 3–5 years of experience in plant, facility, or equipment maintenance, or a related technical role required
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, hoists, lifts, and material-handling equipment
- Ability to maintain accurate maintenance and parts records
- Ability to follow safety and housekeeping procedures
