About the role

  • Refine and execute the long-term corporate philanthropy vision
  • Serve as a director on the DPR Foundation board, a 501c3 philanthropy
  • Work with the board to scale the DPR Foundation impact
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the GSR team and Leadership Team
  • Champion equity-centered giving and inclusive community partnerships
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Corporate Service Groups, Regions, and Business Units to integrate community initiatives
  • Identify and implement plans for strategic partnerships with our non-profit partners
  • Represent the company externally with non-profit partners and industry coalitions
  • Explore opportunities for volunteer incentives: employee matching, dollars for doers, etc.
  • Explore best practices to scale the team
  • Enhance the overall communication strategy
  • Develop company-wide guidelines for philanthropy giving and fundraising
  • Scale signature programs including High School Build Up internships and skills-based volunteering
  • Drive innovation in grantmaking, employee engagement and impact measurement
  • Ensure robust data collection and storytelling to demonstrate ROI and community outcomes
  • Increase employee engagement and volunteering year after year
  • Manage community initiatives budget, grant portfolio and vendor relationships
  • Enhance KPIs and dashboards for tracking social impact and ROI
  • Design the CI and philanthropy portions of the GSR Annual Report in collaboration with Communications and Brand
  • Influence, lead, and motivate the Community Initiatives team, Community Initiatives Leadership Team (CILG) and volunteers who implement and organize non-profit employee engagement programs to increase program impact, volunteer engagement and skills-based volunteering

Requirements

  • Proven experience with 501(c)(3) governance including reporting requirements
  • proven track record of successful engagement with non-profit partners
  • demonstrated personal history of volunteerism, board service and board management
  • Ten plus years of experience with strategic philanthropy and skills based volunteering
  • Experience leading enterprise change management
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Excellent listening and strong communication skills
  • Experience managing teams and budgets
  • Ability to identify and solve complex issues
  • Ability to create and support team morale
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Medium travel is expected, approximately 25%.
